A large variety of LP bells offers different pitches and sound characteristics designed to meet all musical needs and fit into any genre. All mounted cowbells feature the famous forged eye-bolt clamp assembly with oversized wing nuts that provide secure placement on 3/8" diameter mounting rods with only finger tightening.
This patented bell is based on the Rock Cowbell and features a red Jenigor® plastic bar across the top edge secured with specially designed rivets. The Jenigor bar has a dampening effect on the sound and resists the denting that inevitably occurs when struck with a drumstick. The LP Rock Ridge Rider® Cowbell is somewhat higher in pitch than the LP Rock Classic Ridge Rider bell.

It was designed to have a high pitched bright sound with a moderate overtone and a slightly rounded playing surface to make it easy to get a good sound with every hit of the stick. This is the bell that no percussionist, or complete entertainer, should live without.
The Vibra-Slap was the first of numerous patents granted to Latin Percussion. It has appeared in more recordings, soundtracks and advertisements than any sound effect ever made. As with many other LP products, the Vibra-Slap was conceived as a dependable replacement for the original delicate rattling horse jawbone.
The Vibra-Slap makes its sound when the ball end is struck against the palm of the hand. This sound can be varied simply by rotating the sound chamber. It is available in three styles, two made from wood and a third made from metal. The wood versions have warm crisp tones while the metal version produces a metallic clatter with longer sustain.
One of LP’s earliest inventions, LP Wood Blocks are no ordinary blocks.
They can be used on a flat surface or mounted with the LP Wood Block Mounting Bracket
Clave (pronounced clah’ vay) is the rhythmic pattern that forms the basis of Latin music. Clave is phrased in what is known as a 3⁄2 (forward clave) or 2⁄3 (backward clave) feel. That is, three beats then two beats or, two beats then three beats. Claves are the traditional instruments used to play clave and are comprised of two sticks that are struck together to get a sharp, cracking sound. One is called the Clave or male, while the other is the Striker or female. The Clave lays in one hand between the fingertips and the heel of the hand, with the thumb out for support. This space between the Clave and the palm of the hand creates a sound chamber. The Striker is held as a beater in the other hand and is struck against the Clave.
Follows African tradition with a larger Clave (12" L x 13⁄4" W) and smaller Striker (10" L x 1" W)

Though larger in size than the LP Standard Clave, it features the same kiln dried exotic hardwood and produces deep, rich tones with projection.
This Sr. Model of the Black Beauty® Cowbell has a similar shape as its name sake, but with a wider mouth. It is tuned a whole step lower in pitch and has a moderately dry sound with dynamic projection.
The LP Mambo Cowbell has a sharp, raised playing surface making it an easy bell to play in a timbale set up. It has a deeper pitch and drier tone than the LP Timbale Cowbell.
The LP Afuche®/Cabasa, Martin Cohen's second patented invention, was developed nearly thirty years ago. It has since become the most popular hand percussion instrument ever created!
This ingenious instrument is constructed using endless loops of steel bead chain wrapped around a specially textured stainless steel cylinder. Wooden flanges enclose the cylinder and a wooden handle is attached to the bottom. (The Mini model features plastic flanges and handle.)
The LP Afuche®/Cabasa was designed to create rhythmic scraping sounds and patterns. The beads can be manipulated against the textured steel or the instrument can be spun or shaken for varying sounds, the likes of which can be heard in music all over the world. The LP Super Guiro was designed to eliminate the durability issues inherent with the natural version of this instrument. It is precision-molded from high-strength plastic and is designed to have the shape, feel, and sound quality of the natural gourd version.
Special attention has been paid to the location of the rubber-lined finger holes to provide maximum comfort and control. It comes with two scrapers, a plastic model for bright loud sound and a wood model for warm dry sound.

The new LP Double Folding Bar Chime offers a truly unique range of options. When folded, the instrument shrinks to a compact profile that will be very popular with drumset players who find space is at a premium. In a moment, the percussionist can fold the frame down to a 12-bar expanse that extends three rows deep. The resulting dense configuration elicits a more complex, thicker, multi-pitched shimmer.
When extended, the bars are configured such that a broad sweep produces an intriguing glissando that goes from high-to-low-to-high-to-low pitches—a pleasing and captivating undulation. Played wide-open (extended) or closed (folded three rows deep), the chimes emit delightfully crisp and glassy timbres. The LP Double Folding Bar Chime provides the creative musician with an alternative to the conventionally-configured chime sequence, which runs from low to high pitches. The original Daniel de los Reyes LP One Shot Shaker was a stroke of brilliance. It solved the problem inherent in conventional shakers: a strong forward shake with a hesitant return. The original One Shot emphasized the forward shot ingeniously by silencing any extraneous rattling after the fact.
Understandably, it has won industry awards. One magazine put it up for "the Nobel Prize of Percussion!"
The LP Multi-Guiro is a patented, compact, dual stainless steel surface, metal guiro and shaker all in one.
One surface features large raised grooves, similar to the Cuban guiro, while the other has a finer texture. With the unique fill cap, you can modify the amount of fill material to change the shaker sound.
As a shaker or a guiro, the LP Multi-Guiro produces bright, projecting sounds in any musical situation. An LP Torpedo Scraper is included.
Simply invert the rainstick, causing the fill material to cascade over the internal "tree" steps, and it "rains" wherever you are. The greater the incline, the greater the downpour.

The shekere's history begins in Africa where this unique instrument serves as a shaker, a rattle, and a drum. Traditionally made from hollowed gourds wrapped in a lattice of stones, the instrument was, and is, played by shaking or twisting it to get shaker and rattle sounds or by hitting the bottom of the body with the palm of the hand to get drum like bass notes.
